TARGET METRO AREAS BY EASTER, 2027
Cities are the central building block of a national strategy. The relational unity Jesus commanded (John 13) and then prayed (John 17) must be lived out practically in community. Each community is unique and will develop their plans in unity as a citywide Body of Christ.
“National organizations (denominations, nonprofits, sectors, etc.) can open doors and encourage local participation, but ‘top down’ without ‘bottom up’ doesn’t transform lives.”
Three Primary Purposes of a Cities’ Team:

Embrace the core values of JC2033 international: the broader and deeper our unity, the stronger will be our witness, and the larger the celebration.
Hold an annual city-wide celebration, ideally in the Easter-Pentecost window, that functions as a unity barometer, identifying the work still needed during the next year. (In the largest cities, this eventually needs to be broken into smaller communities.)
Partner, don’t compete! Find existing networks and collaborate extensively. Encourage each part of the Body of Christ in every sector and demographic to carry out their mission… with an eye toward the unprecedented opportunity of 2033.

Goals of the call:
Learn how 2033 is an unprecedented catalyst for cities in terms of unity and collaboration, evangelism, maturing of the City Church, and cross-sector partnership that addresses city challenges
Discover the roles of a 2033 city champion and leadership team, a template for that team, and the do’s and don’ts for creation and maintenance at a city level
Q and A as we learn from one another
Active city champions and teams will be listed and enabled to collaborate with one another as desired.
